Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that, maintenance activities will be conducted on February 16 (Saturday) and 17 (Sunday). This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follow:
Date: February 16, 2019 – Saturday
Time: 8am to 12nn
Reasons:
· Replacement of one 35ft. rotten wood pole and its accessories; and
· Transferring of one 25kVa common distribution transformer, its accessories, and secondary lines.
Areas Affected: BF2 portion of Greensville 1 and 2, Capitol Heights, Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City
Date: February 17, 2019 – Sunday
Time: 7am to 5pm
Reasons:
· Reconductoring of six spans 3-phase primary line to #336 MCM at Lacson extension and sixteen spans 3-phase primary line to #336 MCM at Goldenfield, Brgy. Singcang, Bacolod City; and
· Tree clearing covering portion of Alijis Feeder 2 (AF2)
Areas Affected: AF2 Portion of Alijis Road (Alijis Substation to areas before Maranatha School), Baronessa Metal Corp., part of Greenplains Subd., Araneta Street, Magsaysay Ave. to Sugarland Hotel, Luxur Place (former Bacolod Convention Plaza and Hotel), Teleperformance, Bacolod Police Station, Goldenfield Commercial Complex, Magsungay, Henrietta Village, Airport Subd., Calong-Calong, Villa Esperanza, Palmas Del Mar, Orient Marine, Villa Servando, Golden River Village
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
